Can I run Rosetta Enterprise using servers?

Yes, you have the option to run Rosetta Enterprise in your own servers.This can be the case if you do not have an internet connection or if you want to use your existing network infrastructure and server hardware to run Rosetta Enterprise.

Note: Additional fee will be charged for the maintenance of the servers.

What is the disadvantage of running Rosetta Enterprise using my own servers?

You would need to spend more on purchasing your own servers, create infrastructure, and hire personnel to perform daily administrative task that include daily backups. You run the risk of downtime.

What are the requirements to run Rosetta Enterprise in our own servers?

You need to be able to successfully process your company's transactions for five months using Rosetta Enterprise in order to become eligible to run it in your own servers. This is to ensure that you have sufficient experience and know-how on running Rosetta Enterprise without any problems.

Can we use Rosetta Enterprise for our computerized accounting system (CAS)?

Yes, we have clients that have seamlessly replaced their Oracle systems in favor of Rosetta Enterprise, not just for the large cost savings, but also from the functionality and CAS advantage.

How long does it take to implement Rosetta Enterprise?

Depending on the modules being implemented, it can take just 3 days to fully implement the Rosetta Enterprise Financials suites that include Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger. With the use of data templates, you can quickly configure Rosetta Enterprise with your own set of data.

I have multiple sites that need the use of a centralized system, can Rosetta Enterprise handle multiple sites?

Can I generate my financial statements even if the period is not yet closed?

Yes. You can generate your financial statements at any time. The account balances are updated in real time.

What do I need to I access my Rosetta Enterprise account?

You will need a PC or laptop and an internet connection, and your credentials including the URL, your user ID, and Password.

Can I use my smart phone to access Rosetta Enterprise?

Yes you can use your smart phone. As long as you are connected to the internet (3g, LTE  or wifi) and you have an internet browser, you can access Rosetta Enterprise.

How fast should my internet be to be able to login to my account?

Rosetta Enterprise bandwidth consumption is very lightweight. As long as you can access your gmail or facebook, it means you have enough capacity to access your Rosetta Enterprise.

Do you also provide training for Rosetta Enterprise user?

Yes we conduct training during implementation, at a scheduled date during the year, or upon request of the client, for a certain fee.

Can I use only a certain module, for example only the GL module, of Rosetta Enterprise?

Yes you can. Once you subscribe, you are entitled to all modules. But if you want to use only certain module, the administrator can restrict the other modules.

Who will do the backup of my data?

We will do the backups for you. One advantage of subscribing to Software-as-a -(Saas) application is that we do the background work for you such as the backup.

How long does it take to get Rosetta Enterprise up and running? Is it difficult to learn and use?

For core modules such as those that enable the procurement to payment and order to cash processes, it only takes about 4 to 6 weeks to implement Rosetta Enterprise as opposed to months and months for typical Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) products. Rosetta Enterprise requires very little customization and the system has been designed to be intuitive and interactive so that it is simple to learn and easy to use. Rosetta Enterprise comes with extensive documentation, online issue tracking and telephone support. As a result, a customer’s learning curve has been relatively short, usually no more than a few days.

How secure is our data? Reliability?

Customers’ data is as secure and the back-up system and disaster recovery plan are as stable and reliable as anyone’s in the IT industry.  We deploy our back-up and protection plans for all our customers to protect their data from the outside and from mechanical failure. We back up customer data regularly, and store them off-site. Testing of Back-up Plan, Evaluation and Maintenance are also done on a regular basis. Fault-tolerant technology is built into the system through strong replication methods.

Can we have our own server at our premise?

Yes, definitely.  It is an optional service available to all customers.

How often is our data backed up?

We backup frequently enough to ensure that any need to restore data will be minimally disruptive to customers operation.

Is the system virus free?

No system can boast that it will always be safe from virus attacks with some very determined virus writers in the world today. Rosetta Enterprise, so far though, has never had virus invasion problem.

Can Rosetta Enterprise allow us to do Landed Cost Tracking?

Yes, Landed Cost Tracking is a built-in feature of Rosetta Enterprise, which is highly appreciated by many of our customers, especially importers.

What happens if an employee/user is terminated?

Your own Rosetta Enterprise Administrator will log into your system and make this user inactive instantly. Your company data will stay, and a user with the appropriate role (e.g. Administrator) can reassign roles to another user.

Can we integrate some of our existing systems to Rosetta Enterprise?

Rosetta Enterprise covers virtually all of the critical functions of every Small to Medium Business and even large enterprises. Integration to your existing system is an optional service, which may necessitate extensive development effort depending on the complexity of your requirement.

If my sales order is in pending status, will it already affect my inventory?

No, it will only be deducted from your inventory when the sales order is in shipped status.

Can I link the sales module to the planning module and vice versa?

Yes. The following modules are integrated: Sales, Shipping, Planning, AR, GL in our system.

Can the sales module handle returns for fully invoiced orders?

Yes it does. The system will give you 2 options for returns. One is by shipping back the item to be returned then you will create a new sales order with the new item. Second is by doing a credit memo to reverse the invoiced amount from the old sales order.
