Leading Zeroes Feature Added for Computerized Accounting System |
Tuesday, 18 February 2014 05:25 |
Document numbering in different transactions in Rosetta Enterprise can now be setup with leading zeroes. Leading zeroes is used to fill the required number of digits in a document. For example on your sales invoice, if you are using six-digit numbering, invoice number 1 appears as 000001. Transactions with leading zeroes setup includes AP invoice, AP Payment (Voucher), AR Invoice (Sales invoice), Collection (OR), Purchase Order, and Sales Order.
This is a recent requirement for companies that is required for the certification of Computerized Accounting System (CAS). The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) requires that document number used in transactions must be at least 6 digits for CAS certified systems.
The leading zeroes feature was added into Rosetta Enterprise to be maintain compliant to the BIR rules. |
